they are given that ratio between first and second number is 2:3.... ratio between second and third number is 5:8.... so we can tell that the second number is divisible by 3 and also divisible by 5.... so it can be a multiple of 3 and 5..... let us take the second number be 15... so the first number is 10 and third number is 24..... now the numbers are 10:15:24 and the ratio is also satisfied....if we add the above three we are getting 49 as result... but we need 98 that is the double of 49.... so take the second digit as the double of 15 that is 30..... now 30 is divisible by 3 and also 5.... here the first number is 20 and the third number is 48.... now we add 20+30+48 we get our answer 98.......
