C wrong due to the fact that it is rpc.yppasswd and ypserv is also on the master together with xupxfrd ypupdated. The last two are only on the master and not on the NIS slave.

Right Answer is B and C

The question clearly mentions daemons which run ONLY on the master server

so answer is B and C

according to SUN guide

Master Server's Daemons are:- ypserv ypbind rpc.yppasswdd ypxfrd and rpc.ypupdated

Slave server's daemons are:- ypserv and ypbind

Client only runs ypbind

therefore original answer is correct
