Welcom to GeekInterview.com, GeekInterview.com is an Open Database where you can share interview questions, comment / answer any questions. Each question is like discussion thread that helps you to learn and understand each question and answer in detail instead of just reading them.
In order to maintain the core objective of this website and a level of sanity in its content, We have outlined few basic points to be noted while you interact with geekinterview.com and its community members.
- Post only authentic question and answers.
- Spell check and use correct grammer before posting.
- Avoid heavy formatting on question / answer.
- Avoid posting links to other websites.
- Do NOT ask questions that are already available on this website.
- Do NOT copy and paste from other websites.
- Do NOT abuse other members/site visitors.
- Do NOT ask or provide phone numbers and email ids.
- Do NOT ask for certification dumps, licence keys, licenced softwares or any thing deemed inappropriate or unethical.
- Do NOT type entire question/answer in CAPITALS.
- Do NOT post questions related to Class ASSIGNMENTS.

1. If you are a new here you need to register

2. After registering your account you need to log on to geekinterview.com

In case you have already registered earlier and not able to login
You need to provide us the email id and or the user name with which you have registered with us.
In the absence of these information we will not be able to verify your account.
If you cannot recall any of these, you need to register with us again.

There are two methods to ask questions
1. Via geekinterview.com home page
2. Via. geekinterview.com/talk forums
For both the cases you need to login first.
1. To ask question via geekinterview.com home page
Let navigate to appropriate category from geekinterview.com home page
After navigating to the category page
You may find sub-categories links (if any) at the top of the page
You can further navigate for more specific sub-category
On all category and sub-category pages, you will find 'ASK Question' button on left top and also at the bottom center, you can click on 'ASK Question' Button and post your question,
Your question will appear on site after approval from geekinterview.com admin / support staff.
2. To ask question via geekinterview.com forums
Here also you need to choose suitable category from http://www.geekinterview.com/talk forum home page
In each category page you will find 'Add Question' button on top right of the category page
Click on that, New page appear with title and subject box,
Type your Question and submit it

Reporting a Question to admin
Each question will have an icon to its left corner (circled
red in picture shown below), by clicking on this icon, members will be able to
report a particular question to admin.

When "Report this question to admin" icon is clicked, new
page opens as shown in below picture, here you can report the question to admin
and also write few lines stating why you think the question is wrong or
inappropriate or poor English or spam or any other reason. You can bring this to
the notice of admin

Reporting an Answer to admin
Just like each question, every comment / answer too will
sport similar icon, circled red in picture shown below. By clicking on this
icon, members will be able to report a particular comment / answer to admin.

When "Report this answer to admin" icon is clicked, new page
opens as shown in below picture, here you can report the comment / answer to
admin and also write few lines stating why you think the comment / answer is
wrong or duplicate or inappropriate or poor English or spam or any other reason.
You can bring this to the notice of admin.

NOTE: When you report a question or any answer, your
information will be kept confidential and will not be revealed in general.

Rating an Answer
In addition to reporting a question and reporting an answer
to admin, there is another option to rate each and every comment / answer as per
your choice. Since you all know that geekinterview.com being a member driven
open database, has several answers posted, it will be more useful and more
appropriate to rate the answers for the question under which it is posted. By
rating the good answer as useful, it is possible to add value
to the answer and thereby let other members and site visitors get more accurate
and reliable information. In the picture shown below, you can see "Is
this answer useful? Yes | No" option provided in the last line of the
answer - this is where you rate the answer.

However please be noted that you need to login before you can
rate any of the answer. In the picture shown below, a message is shown when un-loged
members or site visitors try to rate an answer.

Below picture shows message when an answer is successfully
rated.
