Middle-East - The Land of Opportunity

It is a common concept in western countries that the Middle East is a dangerous place to live. That concept of course is not partly true due to consistent deployment of young men and women to Iraq and the dangers they face everyday. Although there are outcries to remove the troops in Iraq, it will never diminish the fact that it is still dangerous there.

On the other hand, Iraq is not the only country in the Middle East. There are other countries that disregarded the situation in Iraq and continued to live their peaceful and progressive lives. Some of these countries have even become the land of opportunity not only for their citizens but also to westerners.

Dubai as the Land of Opportunity
If you are thinking of moving to another city in Asia particularly in the Middle East, consider going to Dubai. This open city has become the haven of billionaires around the world. Construction seemed endless and high rise buildings just keeps on popping out in every street in the city. You will see locals in this city but you will also see citizens from different Asian and European countries trying to make a living here.

Dubai’s continuous development and most field of expertise are considered helpful in this city. If you are an architect, engineer or any degree and experience related to this field, you will find a job in this country in no time. As we have already indicated, construction is continuous in this city.

Dubai and the Middle-East are also known for their oil production. Aside from construction, skills related to drilling both offshore (in the sea) or in the pipeline (on land) could easily beat any regular jobs in the USA.

It is a very hard work but consider this: everything is being paid for – your food, your place to stay and transportation when you want to go home. Oil producing companies give their employees one month off from their job after a month’s worth at work. It is a very difficult job but the financial rewards could just only get better.

Other Opportunities
There are other opportunities in Dubai which could be your future. The hotel industry in Dubai is really big right now and the construction of more hotels is a clear indication that it will continue to grow. Although it is not as lucrative compared to oil and construction, it’s a steady career with great benefits.

Cost of Living
What you should really look out if you opt to stay in Dubai is the cost of living. You may be earning a lot in this city but the cost of living will drain your salary fast if you are not smart with your salary. It is highly recommended to research on where to stay where you could get the best rate.

Dubai is a continuously growing city set to become one of the best cities in the world. Grab the opportunity and your career will grow together with this budding city. It is a perfectly safe city with lots of opportunities.
