do u need to know in cognos 7 or cognos 8 series ?
In Cognos 8 , for eg, using report studio , create a simple list report .for this , you should have the package already created in the FM model. using that package we can create various reports using report studio tool.
1.open the report studio , click the appropriate package.
2.create new report , select list .
2.then in the source tab, all the objects will be populated from the package , from that drag and drop the required query item into the work area , to form a list report.
3.save it and run the report , in cognos viewer you can see the o/p of the simple list report.
