Question:  amount of time to develop a report

Answer: How much time it will take to develop a report in real time? It depends upon the complexity of the report, so tell me the approximate time period for a simple list, cascading, master-detail, drill-through,..…etc?

RE: amount of time to develop a report

A report can be created in less than one minute to sometimes around 1-week.
It depends on the business logic/rule that is to be incorporated into the report.
All the filters, prompts, conditional formatting, sortings, calculated columns that are to be placed in a report cause to vary the total time required to develop a report before it is delivered to the client.

And, after all of this also, a report can be subjected to numerous changes by the client (Business user).
