We dont actually create prompts in FM.
There is a property known as Prompt for each Query Item (field/column name). You just set this property to the required prompt type.
After the properties are set, you publish the package.
In Report Studio, you just drag and drop this Query Item and define a filter with ?Query_Item?. You can set the Data Format for the Query Item here.
