Question: In a music concert, I was sitting only 100 feet away from the musicians. The performance was broadcasted. My sister who lives in Banglore also heard the same concert on the radio. I m sure u know that Banglore is over a 1000 miles away from calcutta and also that sound travels at 1100 feet per sec. Do u think there was any difference in the times at which the music was heard by my sister and myself. If yes, Explain?

| as far as iam concerned i think ur sister will hear the note before u.because via satellite the programme will be transmitted as electromagnetic radio waves which travels at a rate of 3*10^8 m/s.but the difference will be negligibly small that it can be picked up neither by u nor by ur sister. |
