RE: Quality Procedures

Whenever we talk about quality procedures it cannot be different for different sections of a business. There has to be a common management system across the organization.
When we say quality in the context of a BA it means that what measures should be taken by a BA so that his work products or outputs are of the highest quality.
A BA can follow the quality standards uniformly followed across his company which could be QMS around any standards eg CMMi, ISO, ITIL etc.
This implies that the BA should get all his work duly reviewed by his manager/line head and approved by the client before it gets authorised to be used by the Dev team.
if there are standard documents and or tools for Proposal/RFPs/SRS/UML/VISIO etc then these should be used by the BA so as to adhere to the quality process of its respective org.
