RE: How to link informatica with database (oracle or sql server)

hi
to all infomatica people
in order to link infomatica with database
an infomatica developer or etlconsutant
has to use ODBC Connections (open database connectivity driver)
which are their in infomatica s/w i mean when u instal INFOMATICA ON UR PC
for that r have to create ur own  drivers or u can use odbc driver in any DB
forexample  if ur using oracle as ur DB  then use  oracle edtion orahome90 in DB
and finaly  select that drivers in INFOMATICA .OK THEN
CONNECTION  IS estb b/w database and INFOMATICA.
