first make a square ABCD with 4 lines.join AC and BD as a diagonals.assume that they cut at P. Now draw a line parallel to PA and another line parallel to PB. Suppose these parallel lines cut at Q.Hence PAQB would be the second square.In this way we can use 8 lines
