OLTP Systems : Type I + ER Modelling ODS : Type II + ER Modelling DWH : Type II + Dimensional modelling People use ODS as a alternative to DWH ofcourse there is a lot of difference and it doesnt support analysis on your bussiness like OLTP becasue of ER Modelling..
