Question:  You have 2 containers , one of 5litres and other of 3 litre capacity. provided with unlimited supply of water, you have to measure 4 litres with it

Fill 3 litre container,pour it into 5 litre container.

Again fill 3 litre container,pour 2/3 into 5 litre container.

Now the 3 litre container will contain 1 litre.

Empty the 5 litre container.pour 1 litre in the 3 litre container.

Once again fill the 3 litre containerand pour into 5 litre container.
