Question: My son is half of my age & was 1/3rd of my age 10 yrs back. What is my present age?

let father's age is:- y
and son's age is :-x
present age son =>x=y/2
before 10 year the age of son is=>x=y/3
so now y/2=y/3+10
by solving this we get y=60
so presently the age of the father is 60 and age of the son is 30
where the age of the son was before 10 year is 1/3rd of the age of his father that is 20 year. |
