Question: Infosys question paper
(test conducted at al-ameen public school,edapally on 19th august 2006 thru SHREDS)
1.There are 5 positions- Clerk, manager, buyer, cashier and floorwalker. There are 5 persons- Allen, Bernett,clark, Twain and Ewing. Conditions:
(i) clerk and cashier have lunch time at 11.30 to 12.30 and others from 12.30 to 1.30
(ii) Mrs. Allen and Bernett play during lunch time.
(iii) clerk and cashier share bachelor rooms
(iv) Ewing and Twain are not in good terms because one day when Twain returned early from lunch he saw Ewing already sitting for lunch and reported about him to the manager. Find out which person holds which post. (8 marks)

5. In a class there are less than 500 students . when it is divided by 3 it gives a whole number. similarly when it is divided by 4,5 or 7 gives a whole number. find the no. of students in the class
ans: 420 ( 3 marks)
6. Triplets Annie, Danny and fanny spoiled their kitchen with mud on their socks.. Their mother was furious and she couldn't find it who was the culprit as foot print size of the triplets were same.. when she asked the triplets.. Annie said "I didn't do it"...Fanny said "Danny did it".. Danny said "I didn't do it, Fanny is lying".. Among the triplets only one speaks truth..the other two always lie..find the culprit who spoiled the kitchen ( 3 marks)
7. If sachin score 78 more than ahzar , and azhar and robin scores sum is 94 and azhar scores 76 less than dravid and dravid score 26 more than robin .Robin scored 26 more than jadeja. What was the total score done in match. Answer : 338 runs ( 4 marks)
8. Two train starts from two town for each hour. it takes 5hours to reach other town.how many trains does the train come across. ( 6 marks)
9. Two people X and Y went for shopping. They spent half the money plus Rs. 2 extra. Then they spent half of remaining amount plus rupees 5 on something..they spend rupees 5 on coffee.what is the initial amount that they had ( I am sorry I don’t remember the values and conditions properly) ( 3 marks)
10. A person travels in car from one place to another. After the first hour He finds a 2 digit number written on the milestone.After one more hour he finds another milestone with the same 2 digits but in reverse order. Again after one more hour he finds another milestone with those 2 digits separated by a zero.what is the speed of the car ? ( 4 marks)

And my analysis for Q1
Allen - Manager
Bernett - Buyer
Ewing - Floorwalker
Twain - Cashier(bachelor rooms = male)
Clarke - clerk(----"-------"---------)
Twain reported to manager => Ewing is not manager and cant be a buyer! So, a Floorwalker!
Also Twain was authorative-- very much unlike clerk!
