Question: Hi, This is Ram working as a system administrator I had installed the Informatica PowerCenter 7.1.1 and when i was configuring the repository server it is giving "the server could not contact" message, I never faced this problem before pls anybody had any solution pls send to me as early as possible i tried all the possible ways to solve this problem but i could not get it so pls help me in this regard.

| At the time of configuring the repository server just give the port number is 5001 and put a passwordThen start the service first then open the repository server administrator console.Just connect it will ask the pass word just type what ever u have given at the time of configuring the repository server configuration. |
