Volume of water=5/8*20;
Volume of milk=3/8*20;
Since 4 litres of mixture is taken out therefor
Volume of milk remaining= 3/8*16;
=6
As for water
Volume= volume remaing of mixture + 4litres
=5/8*16 +4
=10+4
=14
hence milk:water =6:14 =3:7 |
