Answer: What happen if we pour petrol in diesel engine and vice versa? Explain

More than a few drops of the wrong fuel is likely to wreck the engine.

A diesel/air mixture has to be compressed much more than a petrol/air mixture so the engines are built differently from each other.

I think both the engines are built up according to their requirements, such as compression ration, spark plug for petrol and injector for diesel engine and many more different things. May be we will be seeing hybrid engines in near future.
