Question:  Pressure v/s Stress

Answer: Though units for pressure and stress are same (i.e N/mm2)
What is the difference between stress and pressure?

Pressure v/s Stress
 
Pressure is exerted only in case of fluid, liquid or gases, but stress is exerted only on solid.
