RE: Coding of Letters |
Another Answer could possibly be there as i found a Sequence
see
4 letter word Agra=1310--->Sum is 1+3+1+0=5 => 5 letter word is next
5 letter word Delhi=1680--->Sum is 1+6+8+0=15-->Sum is 1+5=6 => 6 letter word is next
6 letter word Jaipur=1230--->sum is 1+2+3+0=6--->means next word should also be of 6 letter
now Going back to Agra... Assume that the Word before Agra might have some no. which gives sum as that of 4...
or
the word itself can be PURI
& answer can be any no. whose made by digits 0,1,2,3...in all 3 distances given in Question last digit is 0...
so for PURI also it should be 0 at last----------------------(1)
so for PURI its XYZ0 km----------------------------------------(0)
where xyz should be made from 1,2,3...-------------------(2)
x+y+z=4---------------------------------------------------------(3)
now we cannot repeat 0 but we can repeat 1 as done for AGRA....------(4)
Thus 3 cant be used in any case so its Discarded Reason: No. using 3 can be
by using (1)...all digits at last should be 0.
1230 ---eqn (3) becomes invalid
2200 ---eqn (4) becomes invalid
try other combinations too they will make any of the Above given Eqn invalid
So now we have 1,2,0 digits in which we can repeat 1...& last digit should be 0
so answer can be 1) 1210 kms 2) 2110 kms 3) 1120 kms
according to me Answer Should be 1210 kms..as it some what matches from Distance of Agra.
Hope u Got that Explaination
:D |
