Answer: Expalain the differenece between flexfield qualifier and segment qualifiers in the flexfield concept in the Oracle Applications.

Qualifiers are used to set a specific property to the segment columns or segment values. Flexfield qualifiers are used to set a specific property to the segment columns like balancing segment, natural accounting segment, cost center, intercompany. For any structure Balacing segment & Natural accounting segemnt should be mandatorily set. Segment qualifiers are used to set for the values of the segments like expense, revenue, asset etc in GL
