RE: Starvation |
Starvation takes place when a low-priority process does not get CPU time bcoz of higher priority processes keep coming. this can be removed by "AGING" In this A Process waiting for a particular time in queue (Eg:15 min) Gets its Priority increased by 1. Eg: If a process has priority 10, then it will reach priority 1 in (15*10)=150 mins. |
