Question:  You have 2 containers , one of 5litres and other of 3 litre capacity. provided with unlimited supply of water, you have to measure 4 litres with it

first fill up the 5ltr can, pour it to 3ltr can.
2ltr remains in 5ltr can.
empty the 3ltr can.
pour the remaining 2ltr from 5ltr can to 3ltr can.
Fill up the 5ltr can again.
Pour it to 3ltr can. Since 3ltr can already has 2ltr in it, it can take only 1more litre.
So, 4 ltrs remain in the 5ltr can.
