Question: dev Space
Answer: While allocating space in (0 to 7 ) slices if you do not assign any space for /dev, will that cause a problem.
A value that indicates how the slice is being used. 0 = unassigned 1 = boot 2 = root 3 = swap 4 = usr 5 = backup 6 = stand 8 = home |

RE: dev Space |
| This will not cause a problem. The /dev directory will exist in the root file system. Most if not all systems I have seen do not have a /dev filesystem. |
